Certificate in Computer Science
Programme Overview
The Certificate in Computer Science is designed to provide learners with a strong foundation in computing principles, problem-solving, programming, and systems knowledge. The programme introduces key areas of computer science including software development, algorithms, computer architecture, databases, operating systems, and networks.
In Trimester 1, learners build foundational knowledge in computer science, programming, algorithms, computer systems, and discrete mathematics. In Trimester 2, the programme advances into object-oriented programming, database systems, operating systems, computer networks, and software engineering principles. This structure supports both academic progression and practical readiness for computing-related environments.
